Timeouts are a huge part of basketball and have to be used wisely–whether to draw up the game-winning play, stop the opposition’s momentum or get the team refocused. I realize this sport is a getaway from the stress of the day but sometimes a timeout from watching and reading about basketball is just as necessary. So this section is for some other subjects that are on my mind or were at one point in time during the beginning stages of my writing career when I was hungrier than ever.
